Property damage assessment is an art, not a science, and is therefore largely a judgement call. Ken uses a variety of strategies to help ensure that the judgement falls in the favor of those he represents. Public Adjusters typically recover a settlement 25% - 45% greater than claims settled without representation. Ken delivers on this by understanding construction components, having the ability to legally negotiate more line items into a settlement and to submit supplements for additional materials.

Lucas spent years doing roofing inspections for insurance carriers such as Allstate, Progressive, State Farm, and Liberty Mutual before switching to help consumers with their claims. He has traveled on catastrophe response teams across Florida, Texas, and the gulf and east coasts responding to large wind storms, hail, tornadoes, and hurricanes. He is certified and trained by HAAG, a leading engineering firm that specializes in storm damage and sets insurance standards. 

Jessica Melchert
Florida Public Adjuster Apprentice to Ken Lollar 

Jessica is the Client Intake Supervisor, and serves as the policy scrutinizer, upholding the integrity of your claims. In addition to being a Licensed Public Adjuster Apprentice to Ken, Jessica has a degree in legal studies and spent years working for a law firm. Her passion is to advocate for homeowners who are wrongfully bullied and pushed around by insurance companies. Our clients have paid premiums to their insurance carrier to be protected in the event of a loss, and have the right to be covered. 

Kevin P. Cote
Florida Public Adjuster

Kevin offers 13+ years of experience in the claim processing field - handling residential and small commercial claims for both Catastrophe and Daily Assignments. He is widely experienced in dealing with the insurance carriers and very well respected within the industry. In addition to being a successful negotiator, one of his strongest assets is his excellent customer service. He develops relationships with his clients and keeps them up to date on the various stages of their claim.

Kevin has 11+ years of experience as a Self Employed Florida Contractor, providing service in the residential/commercial/new construction/remodel market. His background as a contractor gives him an advantage in identifying the cause of damage and correctly returning his clients to a pre-loss condition.

As a Public Adjuster, Kevin’s understanding of the various insurance policies, coupled with his ability to properly document a loss, provides his clients with a more favorable outcome that averages 50% to 400% percent more than the initial claim settlement.
